kid: remember how i asked you last week if you were going to have kids?

kid: well, have you thought about it?
me: .... what?
kid: did you decide to have kids or not?
me: um... well... this is a kind of decision that adults have to think about for a long time before they make up their mind.

me: yeah. it's kind of a big deal.
things i've learned in the past 15 hours...
i can write a 16 page paper in 15 hour time frame, with only one, 1-hour nap.
i cannot believe i signed up for this.
sleep deprivation can cause hallucinations.
i need to be reminded constantly that all-nighters are bad. very bad.
this is probably not my last all-nighter.
